I think he is writing this from the point of a desired outcome rather than an assessment of the current position. I think Karen has read it out of context.
Adults who want to be treated like adults don't LARP outside their own playtime. We don't even allow children to play all the time.
Let me explain: When I was in the early grades of school, I wanted to be a cat. I had this cat costume. The Preschool said I couldn't wear it to class every day because it disrupted the others who were there to learn stuff. It dragged everyone else into my disruption. So on my own time, I could be a cat to my little heart's contentment. Just not when it infringed on my peers.
If anyone thinks they can LARP all the time, they should try it in a courtroom and be held in contempt for playing make believe during a serious affair. I guess we should accommodate weirdos who have no respect for something so important as a courtroom's affairs but love themselves more than people standing up for their innocence? No, adults can't get away with that. Therefore you can LARP all the time, but people aren't obligated to put up with your annoying ass. Play stupid games, get participation trophies? Oh, I mean get stupid prizes.
If these men had not been indulged utterly over the past 15 years, we wouldn't be in this very public "affair".
Make the word "No!" great again.
You are correct. Nobody this crazy should ever have power over others. This delusional experiment proves why we must enforce boundaries.
EVERYONE is ALLOWED to be CRAZY.
what is NOT ALLOWED is Forcing others to JOIN our Fantasy. NO man-made law can prohibit my Right to protect myself from aggressive males.
Yang often has some interesting takes.
This is not one of them, unfortunately.

This is how I read it,I don't know much about this guy though so I might've got it arse about face.
Actually, it would make more sense if that were the case...
