One evening I was on the ground floor of my apartment building, waiting for the mailman. There were two guys down there, also waiting for the mailman and I was talking to them. Suddenly a troon walked by that none of us had ever seen before. None of us said a word to him as he walked out of the building, but I could tell that the men were just as taken aback as I was. Troons are not very common in this area. I live in North Eastern Kentucky. Anyway, after the troon left the building, one of the guys said something to the other guy about how you could go to jail for misgendering troons. I don't know if that is true in Kentucky, but it is definitely true in some places.
