I don't think anyone who gets these have had informed consent of what they're doing because of the complete lack of understanding of how their bodies work. But also given that many of them were teenagers when they decided to transition, and teens/very young adults when they go in for surgeries. Whoever was grooming them often tells them whatever they want to hear - no real discussion about the risks involved or the fact that their old body parts don't grow back after being chopped off. For this reason and many others, I think these surgeries need to be illegal and doctors held liable for damages caused.

These dudes can't even get their surgeon on the phone!

I heard Richie Herron say about his botched surgery that it should have taken 2 hours but took almost 5 due to complications. NO! it should take 5-6 hours on a good day.
