Though it seems exceptionally egregious to tell women that have been raped they are not entitled to boundaries, it is also egregious to suggest that the only way women are entitled to boundaries is they have to earn them by going through a massive boundary violation first.

I had a libfem friend who was sort of "moderate", in that she was fully TWAW but thought that it was OK for a rape victim to ask for a female-only space. A couple of times, I'd try pointing out that it would be wrong to ask rape victims to constantly retraumatise themselves by demanding they justify their need for those spaces, you'd have to just have women-only spaces be there and accessible… Aaand she'd just mumble something and change the subject. I think she could sense the incoming wrong-think if she thought about that too long
