I had a mom who occasionally went off in public saying vile things, including once when both parents and I were delegates to the state Dem convention. Never mattered how old I was, all I wanted was to get the eff out of that situation and never go back. I feel for that little girl. She was used in that situation and I even wonder if the haircut was her idea or if she's being influenced to appear non-binary. Also, no woman offers to show her daughters genitals to a male stranger ever, for any reason, or she should be removed from that child's life immediately. In most situations in the world today, you have a nut dealing with another nut. Just because one of the nuts is wearing a skirt, it made the paper.

Sounds about right.

My sister is like that - the slightest thing sets her off and she has two settings - calm and meltdown with nothing in between. My guess is that the man spoke to the track official and was overheard by somebody who then went to the parent or by the parent. Then the parent went nuts and caused a scene and is now looking to cash in on this.

Yeah, my mom was borderline and bipolar. Public embarrassment was a thing when I was a kid. Her poor emotional regulation made everything so difficult. I was parentified, to say the least.

RCMP is so worried about any perceived insult to a trans but what are they doing for the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls besides ignoring them or covering it up? And the Indigenous children abused in the government's care/foster care? The Highway of Tears?

Excellent point.

Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls have now added two-spirited. I believe this will dilute what little services they had. Nothing is sacred.

Of course it will. Our being more subject to violence and murder not only by white men but also Indigenous men is not "inclusive" enough for trans and male enbys ("2-Spirit"). God forbid we leave men out of our own very specific oppression.

On a lighter but still infuriating note, I have been to two powwows now that have allowed a male person to enter a women's dancing competition. It's hideous.

So he asked an innocent question to a staff member, got screamed at unprovoked by a TRA who had nothing to do with it and defended himself against the aggression? What a non story, but hey ho, TRA are all absolutely fucking unhinged, pick-me victims.

I went to the newspaper website to see if there were more details and there were calls in the comments for him to be prosecuted and have the book thrown at them. It was a total witch burning. There was not one person who questioned the narrative. I always tell people that Canadians aren't nice: they are just passive aggressive and nothing brings out this ugliness better than virtue signaling. I've seen Canadians threaten Muslim parents for daring to ask for their daughters to not have to share private space with boys. This issue really is tearing down the veneer.

I feel sorry for the kid to have such a crazy mother, sexualizing her child in front of strangers. That it was the parents making a scene sounds more truthful than the story initially circulated.

It's like the faux genocide claims: they can't resist making their "oppression" so over-the-top as to not only be instantly unbelievable but also unsympathetic. I hope sooner or later people will recognize the child calling wolf.

You can't even tell which child he was talking about. He may have been talking about another kid.

Also, if you Google the mother who wanted attention, you'll see purple hair in the first photo available.

Of course. This is definitely an act of the weird hair brigade.

I like that they have weird hair. It makes it easier to tell if you're about to talk to a potentially crazy person.

I bet this entire event DELIGHTED the "Mothers"... who are used to using their Child as a Political prop for their activism and ideology..

Infact, I am willing to bet this EXCITED one of the "mothers" in particular.. Disgusting. Their poor Child, if it's even their Child!! Perhaps adopted or BOUGHT, who knows these days.

I wouldn't put it past the "Parents" either to encourage / force the Child to "look" like a Boy, so that this exact situation happens. And when it finally did happen (even though it really didn't!) boy oh boy did they POUNCE on it..

Pathetic individuals.

That 'mother' should be under the eye of CPS for inappropriate sexualized remarks to strange men about her child.
