Karen has zero tolerance for narcissists and their incessant need for validation. I appreciate her high standards for mature adult behavior, and wish she wasn’t in the minority on that. I’ve experienced at YouTube what you describe, and it seems I’m not allowed to reply directly to some comments, but I can figure out the rhyme and reason to it. Google Corporation thinks itself the parental authority for the public, and I for one am growing quite tired of it. I've dealt with this as well it's classic narcisstic triangulation where they'll try to pit you against someone who would be an ally by censoring your Comments to someone you agree with. They want us to feel isolated and alone.
Just to clarify, I’m not suggesting Karen is a “narcissist”. People are way too prepared to casually sling around pseudo psychological analyses these days. I don’t intend to psychoanalyse Karen, it would be rude, presumptuous and unnecessary. The only analysis that seems relevant to me is – is she a competent activist for womens rights – is she getting the message out to people in a clear way – is she inspiring, empowering and mobilising people. I don’t care that much that she blocked me on Gettr and YT. Its her prerogative, her channels, her choice that she feels I don’t have any of value to contribute.
While she is focussed on the fight to dismantle transgender ideology I’ll support her, and mind my own business for judging her over some of, what in my personal opinion, were misguided attacks on other high profile GC activists.

I don't know Karen enough to say she isn't one but I don't see her that way. You are entitled to your opinion and I don't know the full story of what went on between you two especially given that I've yet to hear her side of the story. But in all reality it's not a number one priority of mine. My priorities are with ending this Troon madness. According to Dr. Ramani Durvasala, Professor of Psychology (retired) here in California, the term “narcissist” is descriptive, not diagnostic. I hear people saying that particular point you mentioned and she has said that it’s a word that can be used at the dinner table instead of a**hole. No one’s diagnosing anyone by using it, just describing behavior. I balked when in 2015, a female friend of mine described a man I had recently dated and whose behavior I couldn’t figure out (since it was so strange to me) as a narcissist and she challenged me to look up the personality disorder. In a nutshell, it’s a developmental flaw (?) that pervades a person’s personality (hence the term), and Narcissistic Personality Disorder is just one of many. Some of the hallmarks of it are very entitled behavior, excessive need for validation, and gaslighting (denying the reality of others manipulatively), so when someone is acting like that, it’s no wonder they might be described as narcissistic. I think of it as emotional immaturity, really. My maternal grandmother is the only person I’ve known personally that would’ve likely qualified as having NPD, but like most narcissistic people, she’d have never had herself evaluated. I’m the youngest of seven siblings, and I think only one of us (my eldest brother) showed signs of possibly being one himself, with most of the rest of us enabling her very religious congenitally brain damaged daughter get away with literal crimes against her children by scapegoating me. In my view, we’re experiencing like a critical mass of personality disordered individuals in our population. There’s such a thing as group narcissism as well, a most extreme example of that being Nazism. The psychiatric “profession” is another example, and I don’t wonder anymore why Narcissistic Abuse hasn’t yet been included in their Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM), even though NPD made it in there back in 1980. Epileptic persons experience literal nervous breakdowns when they fall down, flop around, and foam at the mouth, yet they aren’t called “mentally ill.” Narcissists manipulate people’s minds by manipulating their emotions, and caring people are therefore at a disadvantage if they’re not aware that these personality disordered people exist. I’m convinced that many empathetic people have unaddressed medical issues that adversely affects their neurological function, but that this has wrongly been deemed “mental” illness when it’s actually neurological, with toxic drugs masking some symptoms and generating new ones. “Mental” illness is the personality disordered crowd, as the vast majority of these individuals behave in manipulative ways that have devastating consequences for their targeted victims.

Just look at what their ilk is enabling now!
I was choked up reading about your experience and am glad to hear of the eventual justice with the train. It was reported to me by a longtime life partner that when he was a boy of ten in 1957 and visited his relatives who lived in Kentucky, they joked about an uncle that they had been inspired to “bump into the hog pen” because of a similar pattern of behavior that was longstanding. As he was incredulous at the time, it was confirmed to him by enough relatives as he grew older that he and I had reached the same conclusion: that we would probably try to kill someone we found doing or found out about them committing sexual abuse against a child. Here, I’d experienced some myself and didn’t realize at that time just why I’d decided by the age of sixteen that I never wanted to marry!

They won’t be putting it into their DSM any time soon, I’m sure, but did you hear? A castration fetishist with a doctorate degree managed to influence the editing of the latest edition of that tome, and it’s now no longer considered a perversion. Convenient, huh?
I’m thankful at the moment that I have no narcissistic people in my intimate circle, and don’t have to work for one, either. My work now is to address the guilty organizations and the primary perpetrator in civil court. I’m sick of kids being raped, by their relatives or strangers, and wonder if the word “civilized” even means what we think it does when it breeds and enables this kind of barbarity. It’s very much like we’re in a BDSM drama, I’m neither a sadist or a masochist, and know that I wouldn’t do to anyone what was done to me, back when I was twelve or now. I am comfortable to support her financially, as I had previously on Patreon, because I am in the fight for womens rights and to smash trans gender ideology to smithereens and she can wield a mighty sword when focused on the true enemy.
That she can do (the mighty sword thing) well. Sometimes people tell me I’m harsh, and it’s because I survived a narcissist in my family of origin. They’re people too, they can just do a lot of damage to others around them. My sympathies lie first and foremost with those whom they victimize, then with those who are actually professional in the psychological industry who are looking for the causes of this disorder, then distantly third the narcissists themselves who may reach out to a therapist and actually do the incredibly difficult work on themselves to change their behavior pattern.

I came from a dysfunctional family background too, and as with most grown adults, those intense childhood experiences, have formed many of my attitudes and beliefs about the world today. My formative family trauma was my grandfather being a pedophile. His prey was little girls from infancy up to about 12. His own daughter and granddaughters were the easy prey. He also abused any other girls he could lure in the community. His depravity knew no bounds, including animals (sheep, dogs) crossdressing, excreta, bondage, other stuff I’m not sure there are names for… He went to jail 2x and was thankfully murdered when somebody pushed him in front of a train. I revealed the abuse to my Mum when I was 11, and though she was largely in denial (and remains to this day), his access to us was significantly decreased. So I learned the value of speaking the truth, no matter how much courage it takes.
We appear to respect and follow many of the same well known activists in the international GC community. Kellie Jay was the first I came across 2.5 years ago. Still admire her tremendously. I do have reservations and judgements about Karens approach to activism. But nobodys perfect, my judgements may be wrong or change…whatever, when focused she is brilliant, incisive and so, so articulate…and doing the work of peaking and mobilising.
