There have been special units in some men's prisons for decades. Special units for gay and T dudes, for sex offenders, for men with mental illness, for violent offenders, whether to protect them from others, or others from them. Further proof that men being housed in women's prisons is about validation and their own desire to engage in predatory behavior against women, not that it is the only way to protect them.
My compassion fatigue and experience with the Tranadian Corrections system tells me that AGPs (fake ones who declare a trans identity to do easy time and have a personal prey pool and the actual fetishists) want to be incarcerated in women's prisons, while the effeminate HSTS dudes prefer being housed with male offenders and often engage in consensual sex.
In Tranada, pedo sex offenders do not serve their sentences in the 'general population'. Their risk of being sexually assaulted is not as great as their risk of being murdered. I think most jails and prisons have secure units for 'special' inmates.
So, the whole misogynist, woke, prison discussion is apparently about diversity, equity and inclusion. If men get raped in male institutions, it is only fair that women get raped too - so why not transfer a few violent pervs to the women's estate?

Their evidence is that "trans" prisoners are ACCEPTED in male jails, because the con hooking up with one of them, can buy into the fantasy of being the big man on the wing with the fanciest "girlfriend", and PRETEND, to themselves and the other cons that OF COURSE THEY'RE NOT GAY!

AGPs enjoy fantasising about rape…..in the absence of sissy porn a survey will do. I do not believe the would be honest in a study about rape.
